The material itself is a stretchy material, most likely an elastomer though I’m not sure. As you can see they are fairly resilient.

After you unwrap and open the egg, you pull out the lube (decorated as yolk – how cute!) and pour it into the egg and/or onto your stiffy. Then you wrap it around the head of your dick and pull down. Jerking off with this sleeve is easy so long as you don’t get lube on your hand. If you get lube on your jerking hand it can get a little slippery holding the sleeve, but that isn’t really an issue if you just dump the lube in the hole.
