The Neo is a plug made by Tantus. It is made of their own unique formula of 100% ultra-premium silicone. It is body safe, eco friendly, and hypo-allergenic. It is available in two colors – purple and black. Black is always my favorite choice for anal toys.
Like may of the Tantus products, the Neo arrives in a recyclable box boasting a see through front that clearly shows the toy. The top opens easily and the plastic insert slides out to reveal the plug.
The Neo measures 1.4″ in diameter and has an insertable length of 4″. The tip is smooth and gently pointed, making insertion comfortable. The plug then widens through the middle and tapers back again toward the base. This tapered neck allows it to sit snugly in place even while moving around. The top portion of the plug resembles a teardrop in my opinion… though no tears are necessary with this toy. The insertable portion flexes slightly to keep things comfortable while inserted. It has a satin finish and feels buttery soft.
The anchored base eliminates any fear of loosing the plug during use (yes, it can happen during anal play if you don’t have a toy with a wider base or handhold). The base sits between your butt cheeks and is quite flexible. It measures 3″ in length and .75″ in width at the widest point. The length resulted in my entire perineum being covered while wearing it. Though the size of the base was a bit large to sit flush against my ass, it was still comfortable while walking and sitting.
As a lover of plugs, I really enjoyed the Neo. It’s simple and sleek design makes it easy on the eyes and the ass. It was easy to insert and remove, yet stayed in place during play. Walking with the Neo in was very comfortable. Sitting was comfortable as well, though the length of the base occasionally pinched when sitting.
As with all silicone toys, I recommend using a quality water-based lubricant. It is NOT recommended to use a silicone lube with this toy.
The Neo is easy to clean up after use. The sleek tapered design means that there are no cracks or crevices for lube or body fluids to get stuck in. It is boilable, bleachable, and dishwasher safe (top rack with no soap). It can also be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water or a toy cleaner.
