So, here is what he had to say about the Maximum Metal Silicone Beaded Cock Ring…
The Maximum Metal Silicone Beaded Cock Ring is a stretchy cock ring, meant to fit over the base of your penis to restrict blood flow once erect. The stated purpose is to help maintain harder, bigger erections, create enhanced sensations, and to double as a stroker according to the product description. For me, it fails in every single department. However, more on that later.
As the name suggests, this is a clear silicone ring, filled with quarter inch ball bearings, and one larger ball. Of course, as with all silicone products leave those silicone based lubricants in the drawer. Water based lubricants are your best option. The ring itself appears to be quite well built, however flimsy it looks on initial inspection. When I first stretched it out, I was half certain I was going to have a lap full of ball bearings and a handful of ruptured silicone. Curiously, the silicone appears to be thicker over the larger ball, to no apparent purpose. Unstretched, it measures out at a hair over 1.7 inches, with actual internal space of 1.1 inches. I did, however, manage to get that internal space to 3 full inches until I felt it could take no more.
The tin the ring comes in is actually the best part to me. It’s a square, plain metal 2.25 inch hinged container. It’s small, discrete, and easy to fit in my pocket if for some reason I felt like walking around with a cock ring in my jeans. It may even be able to fit a condom in a small wrapper. Honestly, I’m grasping at straws here. When the storage tin makes a better impression than the toy itself, something has gone wrong.
My experiences with the Maximum Metal ring were not good ones. It was only my desire to give a fair review that led me into wearing this ring not just once, or twice, but on 4 separate occasions under different circumstances. Now, I have nothing against cock rings. My gf and I have both enjoyed rings ranging from the most basic disposables, up to items such as the recently reviewed Lelo Tor 2. But never once before have I felt the kind of discomfort and pain this ring brings to the bedroom. To be blunt, it doesn’t feel like I have a blowjob sex toy meant to bring pleasure around my cock. It feels like a medieval torture device. The one thing it does as it should is restrict blood flow, but it does it slightly too well. I have not been able to discover the apparently heightened sensations that should bring, simply because I have to pull it off before I become the worst kind of amputee. I really did try and tough it out on one occasion, but the agony of removal (despite copious amounts of lube) and the blood filling empty veins was not in any way worth the extra hardness. I also felt completely and utterly unable to use this as a stroker in solo play. No matter how much lube was applied it simply would not shift without being stretched out, which kind of defeats the purpose.
On the other hand, if this sounds like the kind of thing you enjoy, this is the cock ring for you.

While some people may enjoy the sensations the Maximum Metal cock ring may provide, it was certainly not for me. There are better, more comfortable, and more pleasurable rings out there.
